Question by AHHH!!!: are facebook “creeping” accusations too extreme?
Seriously. It amazes me that so many people (mainly women) throw the terms “facebook stalker” and “creeper” around. Facebook is a social networking site and, your privacy accounts allow it anyone from anywhere can see your pics/info. So why is it considered weird for a single guy to check out a girls profile? I’m sorry but I just don’t see how that constitutes as stalking (unless your harassing them) It’s only human nature for guys to pursue women and the usage of facebook is completely within the realm of the law. Frankly, I would be flattered if single women wanted to send me messages or friend requests wanting to meet me. I just do not get it….I think people need to get off they’re high horse and get over themselves. Take it as acompliment, be happy that guys are checking you out! and one last thing…its just basic knowlege you don’t put stuff on the net you wouldn’t want the whole world to see

It aint a big deal in my neck ‘o the woods… Girls talk about it wit other girls and tend to dramatcize everything, it’s like a girl saying to another girl, “that guy was checking me out last night”, at any social event… facebook is a social website. cuz.
I feel for ya, I was met with similar accusations. So what if i give a shout out to little Suzy, shes turning 13 this week.

People can hide everything if they want, but they choose not to and accuse others of “creeping”. If you don’t want to be “creeped” on, then hide your profile!

So yes, they are too extreme.
