This is a way to get on Facebook when it is blocked in school or from work so just simply follow the things I do and you should be fine.
Question by jr: When you “unfriend” or “block” someone on facebook do they know? Do you still appear on their friend list?
I found out my husband was still friends with his ex girlfriend on FB and found a flirty message in spanish that says ” wanted to pay you a visit and say hi, big kissss” which sounds worse in spanish ” un grande besote” he claims he never saw that message because it did say “unread” now Im wondering if she regularly sends him these messages. I told him it makes me uncomfortable since it’s been years since they broke up but it was shortly before we got married. He said he doesnt even talk to her but she is fb friends with his mother and sister she hasn’t acceppted my friend request which i figure if its just a platonic thing between her and my husband there shouldnt be a problem to friend her too right? Anyway my husband “unfriended” and or “blocked” her , but what i want to know how does this appear on her freind list , does my husband just disappear from her friend list or is he still there. Her profile is set to private and it was public until i request to friend her . Suspcicious ? Anyway my husband unfriended her but I dont know if she still thinks he is her friend or appears on her friend list i dont know if she is still able to send him messages or what happens if she tries to send a message . This makes me uncomfortable since a few years ago she sent a letter with my sister inlaw once when she came to visit in ny. Oh my husband claims that’s how Colombian’s greet eachother by saying ” un grande besotttteee” a big kissss in english. I’m Colombian american and I would never greet someonelses husband in such a provacativ flirty manner. Am I just making a big deal or does it sound unappropriate? My husband says its not a big deal but he would be fuming if my ex sent me questionable messages .

they can only know if they actually check up on you on facebook.
meaning they search for you.
if they find you, it means you unfriended them.
if they can’t find you at all, that means your unfriended AND/or blocked them.
you will not appear on their friends list.

Unfriending someone on Facebook makes it so that they have as much access to your account as someone who you never ‘friended’ in the first place. She will still have the option to add you or your husband as a friend…but when you or your husband block her, it basically doesn’t let her have any access to your Facebook whatsoever. She won’t find you when searching for you, or even see your comments on other friends.statuses and stuff. Blocking is the most surefire way to go. But its completely possible that the relationship between your husband and the woman is completely innocent and not flirtacious in the least. Let him know that it makes you uncomfortable and hopefully hell back off
To answer your primary question, when you remove someone from your friend list you no longer appear on their friend list or news feed, and blocking someone prevents then from searching for or contacting you again via Facebook.
In my opinion, that’s no way to ‘greet’ someone in any language. He is married now, and should in my opinion be far more concerned about you and your happiness than staying in contact with an old flame. Whether he was just casually flirting or something sinister was going on, it was wrong of him to secretly contact her in that manner. He should be turning her away, not you!
