Up to the Minute technology consultant John Quain speaks to Up To The Minute anchor Michelle Gielan about Facebook’s new privacy feature and steps you should take if you want to limit personal information shared on the social networking site.
Question by Angelina J.: What you think of this Facebook “privacy” I’m experiencing?
Note: what’s bothering me here, is that people who aren’t friends can google me and see my preferences and some of my friends.
I logged off from Facebook
then I googled myself (to find my own Facebook)
I got this front page on Facebook
that didn’t display personal info
but: it displayed my main picture, some of my friend and a lot of fan groups I’m a member of.
following google links were links to the Facebooks of FRIENDS!
I’m not enjoying this! do you have this too?

Since 2005 we have provided graphics and layouts and profile tweaks for myspace. We no longer support Myspace profiles. Myspace is dead. We have transitioned... So now, you can pimp your Facebook.
i have googled myself and sometimes people come up who im friends with and sometimes my own it always chages for me, but i dont really care cause my name is all over google for cross country and track, i dont fan anything on facebook just cause i dont want to so i cant tell you about that i am in tons of groups tho. but none of those ever have came up for me
Change your picture. So they won’t know you.
