Question by sarah_7890: the “delete chat history” button is not there on my facebook IM’s. How do I delete my chat history without it?

Folks at FB have apparently arbitrarily taken the clear button away. In the Help Center under “Using Facebook,” click on Suggestions, then under “Submit feedback for Facebook applications,” click “Chat.” Tell them there that you want the Clear Chat History button back. Just found this out, as I rarely log on my chat..

Since 2005 we have provided graphics and layouts and profile tweaks for myspace. We no longer support Myspace profiles. Myspace is dead. We have transitioned... So now, you can pimp your Facebook.
Facebook took it out i think tho you can get rid of the conversation by exiting it out and open up a new window
i tried exiting the conversation and bringing it back again, and the chat history was still there. but if you log out and in, it clears the history for you :}
