In December 2010 I read this article, an artist had segmented his Facebook pictures so that they created one large, panoramic photo. I thought this was a good idea so set out to attempt it. Music: ‘Stay’ – Hurts www.oliverjwhite.co.uk http
Question by Pickled Emerald: Do those “see who’s peeking at your profile” things on Facebook actually work?
I think it’d be cool to know who’s looking at my profile, but I don’t want to invite 50% of my friends if it doesn’t work -_-
Thanks

No, it doesn’t. Generally, most of those things don’t work.

Since 2005 we have provided graphics and layouts and profile tweaks for myspace. We no longer support Myspace profiles. Myspace is dead. We have transitioned... So now, you can pimp your Facebook.
Nope, all of them are fake. You’d have to have some sort of advanced IP tracking system in order to see who’s looking at your profile.
Simply put?
No.
It’s just a scheme to get a significant amount of followers in a group, just like all of the millions of dislike button groups.
If the feature was released it would be an invasion of private computer history, which facebook would have to ask their users personally when they registered for permission.
These groups are made by people just like you and me who have no affiliation with the company.
i have nevrr tried it yet
Facebook doesn’t allow people to track who views their profiles. Facebook applications, on the other hand, are unable to track anybody unless they have the consent of the viewer.

No.
Never.
As a matter of fact, it’s practically impossible to. For your own security and privacy, third party scripts aren’t able to access information such as your login name, profile information, etc. Social sites such as Facebook, Myspace, and the rest take specific care in making sure that your information is secure. Generally, these types of “services” are pyramid schemes aimed at harvesting contact information, generating ad revenue, or even spreading viruses and malware.
I agree with Rom, I seen thing on my FB friend agreeing to be seen
I never bother to try. I assume that if it did work, I would hear about it from people.
