Question by hello: husband caught with secret profiles for the 5th time?
my husband and i had been separated for over a year because basically he wanted to play single. he is living with me again, it hasn’t even been a year and i caught him with secret myspace, facebook, f**ckbook.com, fling.com profiles, for a couple years now, just opening up new profiles when he is caught witht he old…. all under fictitious names and private. he was accessing them through his cell phone. i saw that he is also on zoosk, and recieving nude photos from local ppl.
at first he said he was sorry and he would never do it again, but the next day he was angry like a little boy who couldn’t go to the swimming pool or something. his apology was not genuine and from the heart.
i told him to do whatever he wants because i am not going take on the burden of trying to control his addiction. i want to maintain my self respect no matter what he chooses in his life.
at the end of the day if he can look himself in the mirror and live with his decisions, who am i to judge.
while i can’t control his behavior, i can control mine. i am happy that i have found out that he truly is not serious about our marriage.
i’m going to pray about what steps i should take next for my life.
do you think ppl with issues like him can ever change?
will he always have a cheating heart? he swears he’s been keeping it to the internet and downplays it all like it’s “just profiles”…….
however, in my heart i know it’s wrong, and would never disrespect someone i profess to “love with all my heart” to thier face while taking great efforts to in the least hook up with ppl online.

I truly believe that everyone deserves a second chance, if they are genuinely remorseful.

No they don’t change were living in a time when people have extremely fast and loose morals and don’t give a shit about respect anymore.
Leave him, not only for your emotional health but for you physical health too. What will you do when he gives you an STD? Is he worth the risk of catching something like HIV? I would get myself tested if i were you.
The first one should have been a warning sign get rid of him and get out this mess. You have some brains don’t you? Well now is the time to use them.
I commend you for giving him a second chance. That’s what marriage is about. My thing is, is if someone that claim to love you continually repeat an act this is hurtful – they don’t love you! It’s time to go… It’s time to cut your losses. Will he change who knows?! I’ve seen people change after they were tired of the repercussions of their actions. He has to basically hit rock bottom before he will see the light and part of him hitting bottom is you leaving. To me sounds like he really don’t want to be in the relationship and is there for convenience. Don’t wait for him to change, do what is right for you albeit stay and wait it out or leave.
